The SMART Lab

The Social Media Analytics Research Team (SMART) Lab, situated within the Scripps College of Communication at Ohio University, serves as an interdisciplinary hub dedicated to advancing research in the realm of social media analytics.

Established in 2015, the lab seeks to enhance comprehension of user behavior within online communities and project subsequent implications.

As social media analytics emerges as a pivotal area for innovation, competition and productivity, it becomes indispensable for individuals, organizations and corporations to grasp its intricacies in a globally competitive environment.

Vision and Mission

The SMART Lab's core objective is to foster cross-disciplinary research partnerships and offer requisite technological assistance to students, faculty, and staff engaged in analytics research.
